Don't get Switches popularity so late in its cycle. Is it ever going to slow down.

May want to get off that high horse, forgetting the Wii U already? Switch is selling for different reasons than the other consoles. It's cheap, the only handheld on the market, and has novelty factor. Doubt Nintendos next machine will strike lightning again.

It's not even 2 years old yet. Maybe next year. Why not just wait for PS6? Tomorrow isn't promised.
Holding back on their subscription service? Sony has a stronger market position than Microsoft so they don't have to blow billions of dollars to stay competitive. Why should they if their games sell well? Sony also doesn't have the money to fund the AAA experiences we want and give them away. If you're going to cry about having to actually buy games, get a different hobby or play games only on Gamepass. Don't expect competitors to follow the ones desperate to catch up.
There's smoke and mirrors in those numbers. Both were supply strained, take it as Xbox strengthening it's position if you want.
Of course but who cares, they've never been in competition. Ones a console, the other is a handheld. Unless you want to say Switch Lite counts.... What happens when Switch passes PS4? Doesn't make it a better platform.

The PS4 edition wasn't a remake, it was a simple remaster to give PS4 owners something to play. TLOU PS5 is the first remake they've ever done. Can't pretend that's all they do now. TLOU2 was an excellent sequel and that's rare after striking gold with the first game.

@Imalwaysright Nintendo gave up on competing generationally with their competitors, they're doing their own thing now. It's a 5 year old handheld, nice try to downplay PS5. It's selling on novelty alone at this point.
Nintendo gave up on competing with the other manufacturers not only by no longer competing in power but by having a totally different release schedule. Fanboys still think they're in competition with dumb posts like this.

I don't think you realize how bad inflation is right now. It's a record high and chips are more expensive not cheaper. Whine about gas prices and food before a 20 dollar increase on a one time purchase.

20 to 30 bucks is somehow the end of the world with a one time luxury purchase. Yet daily purchases like gas and food can triple in price, barely any complaining. Weird.
We can't call it greed because we don't know how much it costs to make the system with rising prices of parts. I don't see how this is the end of the world considering its only 20 to 30 bucks and it's not even happening in the States. People seem to go overboard when it comes to bad Sony press.
While I think Nintendo has some awesome games, a lot of them are overrated. I'm sure it has more to do with them combining their markets. It's been selling without new heavy hitters for a while.
